Janet has worked as an Occupational Therapist with children and their families for over 25 years. She has worked in Hobart, London, Birmingham and Melbourne, with infants and children of varying needs and abilities.
Janet is a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist, skilled in neuro-motor and developmental assessment, neonatal and infant development and gross and fine motor skills. Janet has worked as a Senior clinician in Neonatal and children’s units for over 10 years and provided support for at-risk infants through their early milestones. Janet is also skilled in working with children with neurological and physical challenges, coordination, play and cognitive delays, sensory processing, self regulation and attention and concentration difficulties. Janet has a special interest in infant/child sleep and settling, to support their daily routines and development.
Janet’s passion is to assist families with infant and early childhood development from a sensory, interaction and play perspective. She loves to help families to understand their infant or child’s needs and strengths and to see the pure delight on everyone’s faces when milestones are mastered.
Janet is a mother of two boys and is dedicated to helping parents and children to be the best they can be.
ALLIED HEALTH ASSISTANTS
Meaghan and Dani have completed their Allied Health Assistant- Certificate 4 qualification and are able to work with children at the clinic, child care, kinder, school and home settings to further support their therapy programs. Meaghan and Dani have a wealth of experience in navigating NDIS, local services, child care and kinder approaches, teaching music/dance as well as being amazing mum’s. Meaghan and Dani are dedicated to helping children and their families on their early years journey.
